Stream Clean-Up Project
Ishua Creek
April 14, 2001

clean_1.JPG (49677 bytes) Hindsdale, NY. - In conjunction with the region 9 office of the D.E.C. and fisheries biologist, Paul McKeown, members and parents of the Southern Tier Junior Bassmasters aided in a streamside cleanup of the Ishua Creek.

The cleanup was held along the popular trout-fishing stream on a beautiful day, April 14, 2001. With garbage bags in hand, members walked both sides of the creek, on several different stretches, and picked up litter. Everything from papers, plastic items, bottles and cans, to old tires were hauled to the D.E.C. truck for proper disposal.

The project went to prove that you can make a difference in keeping your communities looking beautiful.
