- On a cold windy October morning, sixteen two man teams braved
a dose of Mother Nature’s best for the Southern Tier
Bassmaster’s last open tournament of the season, used
as a fundraiser for the club.
Tipping the scales at 18.18
pounds was the 5 bass limit of Vinny Brock and Todd Cole.
Their catch out distanced second place finishers Ken Golub
and TJ Valle, 15.54 pounds, by nearly 3 pounds. First place
paid $290.40 while second collected $167.20.
Third place and $96.80 went
to the team of Noel Good and Brad Ashcraft for their 14.51
pounds. Gerhard Leur and Wally Brown took home $61.60 and
fourth place with 13.93 pounds.
