Having
a Good Day
Aug 31, 2008 - The
Lower Niagara River was the site of the 2 day Southern Tier
Bassmaster’s 2007 Club Classic, Saturday and Sunday
August 30, 31, 2008. With a two day total of 41.03 pounds,
Noel Good put almost 6 pounds between himself and second place
finisher Ernie Brabon. Brabon’s first day 23.28 pound
limit gave him, what looked like a comfortable a 2 ½
lead over Noel and the rest of the field. But the smallmouth
“hot bite”, of day one, only stood up for Noel
as he was the only one to break the 20 pound

barrier
on day two. With the win Noel took home $572.50, the first

5.78 pound smallie netted him $400.75. Third place went to
Charlie Mackintosh. Mackintosh had 30.23 pounds for the two
day. He took home $171.76.
All the winners will be honored
at the annual club banquet in February.
