Their 5 fish limit weighing
17.02 pounds absolutely blew away the rest of the field by
a whopping 5.04 pounds more than their closest competitor
and won them $671.55.
Rich Johnson and Mark Allen finished
the day in second place with 11.98 pounds and collected $386.65.
In third place was the father/son team of Kevin and Nick Kuhn.
Their limit weighing 11.38 pounds also contained the tournament
lunker that pushed the scales to 4.54 pounds and the winnings
total to $427.35. Rounding out the top four teams was Ted
Barth and Don Hallock with 9.23 pounds. Fourth place paid
$142.45.
Southern Tier will hold the season’s
last open on Saturday October 17, 2009 launching from the
Conesus Lake State Launch. Entry forms are on this website
