Abt Wins at Silver Lake

Joe Abt brought a 5 fish limit weighing 15.13 pounds to take first place in the Southern Tier Bassmaster’s second points tournament on Saturday August 1, 2009. His catch netted him $234.90 and gave him a two point lead in the AOY race with two tournaments to go.

Second place finisher John Siejak collected $143.55 for his 14.95 pound limit. 2008 Classic champion Wade McClurg took and $84.83 with 12.29 pounds. Rounding out the top 4 money places was Dominic DiGirolamo. He weighed in a 12.02 pound limit and took home $58.73.

Lunker for the tournament, a 4.78 pound largemouth, was caught by Roddy Padden. It was worth $135.

The next tournament will be on Chautauqua Lake August 15, 2009.
