A “Good” Team Wins at Conesus

Keep it in the family would seem to describe the final Southern Tier Bassmaster tournament of 2010. Noel Good, second place finisher in last year’s finale, brought dad, Larry Good, as a partner on

Saturday October 16th and took away the “goods” ($308.55) with a 5 bass limit weighing in at 20.15 pounds. Oh, did I mention that they, Good Drywall and Construction, sponsored the tournament too? Hmmmm, sometimes parents do make a difference.

It seems that the previous year’s top two teams exchanged positions as the 2009 winners Vinnie Brock and teammate Todd Cole finished a close second with a limit weighing 18.84 pounds worth $177.65.

In third place was the team of Alex Kolody and Derek Hitesman winning $102.85 with a 17.67 pound limit. The fourth and final money spot went to the team of Joe Tomb and Jeff Post for their 17.29 pound limit. Their catch was worth $158.95 which also included the payout for the tournament lunker, a 5.28 pound largemouth.

Thanks to all that participated in this year’s open trail. Have a safe fall season and restful off season. Hope to see you all in the spring.
