October 16th and took away the “goods” ($308.55)
with a 5 bass limit weighing in at 20.15 pounds. Oh, did I
mention that they, Good Drywall and Construction, sponsored
the tournament too? Hmmmm, sometimes parents do make a difference.
It seems that the previous year’s
top two teams exchanged positions as the 2009 winners Vinnie
Brock and teammate Todd Cole finished a close second with
a limit weighing 18.84 pounds worth $177.65.
In third place was the team of Alex
Kolody and Derek Hitesman winning $102.85 with a 17.67 pound
limit. The fourth and final money spot went to the team of
Joe Tomb and Jeff Post for their 17.29 pound limit. Their
catch was worth $158.95 which also included the payout for
the tournament lunker, a 5.28 pound largemouth.
Thanks to all that participated in
this year’s open trail. Have a safe fall season and
