The regular monthly meeting was held on June 9, 2010, at Perkins Family Restaurant in Olean, NY.

Grill Raffle Reminder!

One very important reminder: all money and unsold tickets was to be returned to Brady Schoonover by our June meeting. We’ll redistribute all unsold tickets, hoping to sell them before the drawing is held at the Conesus Open in July.

Any members who did not run in their money or unsold tickets should do so ASAP. Contact Brady if you have questions or concerns.

If you need more tickets you can email Brady and he will get some to you right away. Again, we’re hoping to sell every one of the tickets so please do your part in helping our club since this is our only fund raiser of the year.

Tournament News

Tournament Director Bill Melick announced that all tournament permits are finalized and we’re ready to go. He also reminded members that the entry deadline for all tournaments is the Tuesday before the tournament. That means that June 22 is the last day to enter the Conesus tourney, our first points tourney of the year.

Also, Bill noted that he will email the draw results as quickly as possible on the Wednesday before the tourney. Members are responsible to check their email to confirm that their entry was valid. Lastly, boaters and non-boaters would use Bill’s email to communicate and make arrangements for the tourney.

The June meeting was the last chance for STBM members to join the NY Federation. This is required if you wish to fish the CTC the following year.

Junior Club News

The juniors will be holding their annual breakfast fund raiser at Applebee’s in Olean on June 12 from 8-10 AM. See any juniors for a ticket and join us for a wonderful breakfast. If you are planning on attending give the Brewers a call or email so they can get a better idea on how many to cook for.

The juniors are still looking for someone to serve as director(s) for next year.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 7 PM at Perkins Restaurant.
