The regular monthly meeting was held on November 9, 2011, at Perkins Family Restaurant in Olean, NY.

2012 Tournament Waters Drawn:

As per our club by-laws, the tournaments for the upcoming year were drawn at our November meeting. The by-laws require that points tournaments be fished in the order that they are drawn. A random draw was made and the points tourneys for 2012 are:

1. Keuka Lake
2. Sodus Bay
3. Lower Niagara River
4. Lake Erie

Silver Lake was drawn for the Club Classic.

The Tournament Committee will announce all the tournament dates at the December meeting.

2012 Dues in December:

Members are reminded that your dues for the 2012 season must be paid by the end of the December business meeting. Renewal dues will be $55 and cover our club’s dues and the national BASS dues. Dues for new members are $65. The optional New York Bass Chapter Federation dues will be an additional $20. Applications are available on our website.

2012 Officers Nominated:

Nominations for 2012 club officers were held with the following slate proposed:

President – Kevin Kuhn
Vice-President – Ted Barth
Secretary – Dominic DiGirolamo
Treasurer – Don Hallock

Elections will take place at the December meeting. Other nominations may come from the floor. A member must have attended 50% of the previous year’s meetings to be eligible for office.

Additionally, the president and vice-president are required to be a member of the NYBCF.

Other News:

Banquet chair Sharon Green has confirmed our banquet date and time: Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 5-9 PM at the Old Library in Olean. She is working on the menu and prices.

The NYBCF is looking for officers for next year and time is running out. If you are interested please contact Mike Cusano ASAP.

The next meeting will be held at the Olean Perkins Family Restaurant on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 7 PM.
