The
regular monthly meeting was held on November 11, 2009, at
Perkins Family Restaurant in Olean, NY.
2010 Tournament
Sites Drawn
The tournament waters for 2010 were drawn at random in the
following order: Conesus, Lake Erie, the Upper Niagara
River and the Lower Niagara River. Dates will be
announced when the tournament committee meets before the December
meeting. However, as is custom, the tourneys will be held
in the order they were drawn. Chautauqua Lake was drawn for
the two-day 2010 Club Classic.
Outgoing tournament director Tom Spencer raised a concern
from the Conesus Open tournament when some boaters were observed
not wearing their pfd’s when loading their boats. Tom
indicated that our insurance covers us through the payout
process and not wearing a pfd during loading places the club
in a liable position. He would like our tournament committee
to consider adding this requirement to the rules.
