The regular monthly meeting was held on September 14, 2011, at Perkins Family Restaurant in Olean, NY.

Junior News:

Youth director Janene Estes reported that current junior membership stands at 24 paid members.

Junior Jacob Cerratto won the Jr. World Qualifier and will fish at the national championship. A basket will be raffled at our annual banquet to help with his costs.

Brandi Dupere is fishing at the Jr. World Eastern Divisional.

The six-man will be getting new shirts next year.

The juniors are discussing holding meetings every other month and dropping the Lake Erie Fun Day tourney and replacing it with a fourth Boating Trail tourney.

Fundraising:

The money is all collected form this year’s annual grill raffle and we took in $676. That means that our profit may be an all-time high of $476.
Bob Green wanted to thank everyone for their superior effort in making this year’s raffle our best ever!

Tournaments:

Tournament director Howard Stives, Jr. held the draw for the last points tournament of the season on Silver Lake.

A few reminders:
- our 2012 lake draws will be picked at the
November meeting
- our last two opens are on Silver Lake October
1 and Conesus Lake on October 15.

2011 fishing licenses expire on September 30.

Don’t forget our five-function requirement. We only have three tourneys and two meetings left. If you have any questions please speak to an officer soon.

The NYBCF is looking for officers for next year and time is running out. If you are interested please contact Mike Cusano ASAP.
